Objectives

The project's objectives include: - challenging all students so they become as skilled as possible - develop the student's personal, linguistic, social and cultural competences by having the students manoeuvre independently in a foreign country using another language and interacting with their peers - give students the opportunity to create an international network - offer students practical learning and teaching in our European network - to further develop our international strategy so that we are able to attract more students into our teaching programmes - in turn being able to introduce more students to other cultures and ways of working - getting more of the teachers abroad so that they can attain new input which they can implement into their teaching - in addition they should get the opportunity to learn best teaching practises from partners - that our teachers go abroad to develop their skills and see new opportunities in collaboration with other schools both as accompanying staff and in staff training Thus, we are keen to further develop our proposed internationalization strategy.

Background

Kold College has built up good experience with international projects, we have chosen to apply for this project anyway. We would like to create greater awareness of internationalization within the organization and expand the international work to include our EUD, EUX and HTX programs as well as EUD-10.class. There is an increased competition within youth education, and we believe that our work with internationalization can make a difference in relation to student's choice of school. Our most important challenge will be to further develop and utilize our experience. So those who are already involved in our mobility programme will continue with this great work and at the same time contribute experience and ideas for new projects. We will work more purposefully with an administrative staff, the guidance and the teachers gain a greater understanding of and recognise the importance of cooperation and learning from partners. We want to get more of our the teachers abroad so that they can get new input into their teaching. They must see other teaching approaches in turn gaining inspiration for pedagogy and didactics. All this, to increase the student's benefits from the lessons and thus challenge the students to become more skilled.
