Objectives

With this project we wanted: To increase the transversal cooperation on internationalization at the school. To inform and involve local education committees and companies to a greater extent. To strengthen the information about the Erasmus opportunities for our students and future students. To offer courses across the technical GF2 courses To increase efforts around the selection of students for Erasmus courses To increase the effort surrounding the preparation of students To develop the use of digital platforms around Erasmus courses To receive students from other schools at Learnmark through Erasmus courses To involve managers in Erasmus courses To increase the proportion of teachers and managers in Erasmus courses To incorporate sustainability into the Erasmus courses To increase efforts around clear and distinct goals in the Learning Agreement To carry out mobility stays for the entire team at Food, Agriculture and Experiences To develop a clear procedure at Learnmark for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of Erasmus stays.

Background

With this project, we as a school wanted to take a big step towards implementing internationalization as a strategic focal point. The overall focus has been to get the school's departments to work strategically with internationalization both internally, but also in collaboration. The Erasmus project has been continuously discussed in the school's management group, and through the project we have integrated Erasmus stays as a permanent thing in two of the school's three main departments. The two departments are Business and TECH, where we have built partnerships with schools in the Netherlands, Germany and Greece. We have now been accredited, and the focus of the work to come is to implement Erasmus courses and build partnerships at Learnmark Gymnasium aswell. Once this is achieved, all the school's three main departments will be in the process of using Erasmus mobilities to train and educate their students. Through experience, we have built up a structure internally at the school, etc. to ensure the best possible implementation of the Erasmus stay. We therefore consider that with this project we have taken big steps towards becoming an active Erasmus school.
