The main idea for the youth exchange program 'My Online Me' was conceived by a group of young people who were actively involved in our activities. They expressed a keen interest in developing their digital competences and acquiring knowledge about digital tools that could aid them in the job-seeking process. Additionally, they expressed a desire to address the issue of online safety and highlighted the negative impact of social media on youth development. After drafting the project idea, together with partners applied this project. They showed interest in the topic, and together we implemented a project that aimed to tackle three main issues: 1. The digital world, digital competences, and employment: We aimed to teach participants how to effectively use digital media to present themselves and find job opportunities. 2. The digital world and online platforms as tools for self-learning and competency development: We aimed to guide participants on utilizing various online platforms to take courses and enhance their personaland professional growth. 3. Online safety: We aimed to educate participants on how to maintain a safe online presence and mitigate the negative effects of the digital world and online media. Throughout the project, we successfully achieved the following objectives: - Improved participants' digital competences, enabling them to utilize digital media effectively during the job-seeking process. - Guided participants on using a variety of online applications and platforms for self-improvement, including taking courses for professional and personal development. - Educated participants on adopting safe online practices and reducing the negative impact of the digital world. - Successfully demonstrated how digital platforms and applications can be utilized during the job-seeking process. - Raised awareness among participants about the challenges of online safety and privacy. Increased participants' understanding of digital competences and the digital framework for citizens. - Produced a variety of results, including booklets, blogs, and videos, which can be used as learning materials on the project's topics for both youth and youth workers. Expanded young people's knowledge aboutthe Erasmus+ Programme and inspired them to become involved in its activities. The youth exchange program was designed in line with European policies and aligned with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme.
