The main goal and need of the organization is to increase the professional skills of employees, offering opportunities to upgrade themselves in various trainings also through the Erasmus+ project. The opportunity to participate in an international study migration project motivates and inspires teachers. Areas we wanted to improve. • Increase the use of digital tools in the lesson - use of new environments, creation of learning tools for repeated use. Lessons become more interesting. • Increase the use of innovative active learning methods in teaching. More and more active learning methods are used in lessons. • Increasing knowledge in the chosen subject area - geography, art education, English language. The teacher's professionalism in his subject area increases. • Enhancing anti-bullying activities at school. All students are safe at school
Saku Gymnasium is a rapidly growing and developing school. At the time of submitting the project application in 2019, the number of students was 1365 and the school employed 102 teachers. There are many good teachers working at the school who are focused on professional development. The goal of the school is to support teachers and, more broadly, to bring new thoughts and ideas to the school, which can be used in everyday teaching. Teachers have had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus K1 project for several years. Teachers' interest in the project has increased every year. The reason for this is continuity and very positive feedback from the teachers who participated in the project. Many new experiences have been brought to our school thanks to the projects. The teachers who participated in the projects have shared their knowledge and skills with their colleagues In each school year, the goals of the school year are set in the school's general work plan. In the year of application, the emphasis was on how to increase the professionalism of the teacher in his subject area, how to deal with school bullying. We wanted to continue the international cooperation between schools both at the level of students and teachers.
