Selected participants helped to bring added value to our school and developed at least 2 of the following objectives: 1. Professional development in context of life coaching, creativity, and collaboration. 2. Implementation of New Learning concept, and modern science-based pedagogical methodologies. 3. European dimension, internationalization, multiculturality and integration, foreign language skills. 4. Effective and varied learning environment, multilateral cooperation between the subjects and all classes in school. Project’s activities aimed to gain new and best pedagogical practises backed by scientific research from first hand (trainings providers’ experience, skills and knowledge) and second hand sources (experience shared by participants). Dissemination and visibility were also integral part to have broader impact on different stakeholders: students, colleagues, parents and local community in general. To promote and implement transnational projects in context of Erasmus projects English language skills needed to be improved and cultural awareness as well.
Our school has been involved in E+ projects for some years now and we have seen that encouraging teachers to participate in structured training courses are very useful and efficient way to boost teachers’ motivation, enhance their professional and subject-based skills, also contribute to the school development plan and strategies. Mobilities helped teachers to gain new knowledge, promote cultural awareness, learn about other countries, acquaint with local education system and curriculum, provide opportunities to meet colleagues from different European countries. During this trainings many good practises were shared and piloted, collaboration networks expanded and plans for future learning projects made. Mobilities supported personal and professional skills development, which is strongly based on rapidly changing education field, and need for new pedagogical methods. Each training was selected in accordance with teachers needs. Project focused on creativity, analytical and critical thinking, and new learning concepts in general. Teachers are not just transfering the knowledge and skills, they also shape values and attitudes, thus we need regular and versatile trainings to keep up with changes. All trainings met our expectations.
