Project aims: - to support the implementation of inclusive education principles and active teaching methods in everyday learning and teaching activities in 10 Tallinn preschools - Kopli Lasteaed, Tallinna Lepistiku Lasteaed, Rõõmutarekese Lasteaed, Tallinna Mutionu Lasteaed, Tallinna Tuule Lasteaed, Tallinna Lindakivi Lasteaed, Tallinna Allika Lasteaed, Lasteaed Päikene, Tallinna Kiikhobu Lasteaed, Tallinna Lasteaed Delfiin. - to share knowledge and best practices within and between the participating educational institutions in the frame of professional cooperation; - to create contacts between the educational institutions of Tallinn, Munich and Groningen for the development of the international cooperation.
Tallinn Education Department organizes the field of basic, general,hobby and vocational education in the city of Tallinn. Our mission is to develop the best, modern and versatile learning environment for pupils. Our vision is to be a professional developer of a high-quality learning environment. We wrote the project because we could support the goals of the organization through the activities of this project. Tallinn Education Department continuously analyzes the results of the evaluation of the managers of educational institutions. It has become clear from the evaluation results that the institutions need more support in implementing the principles of early detection and inclusive education, including that modern active learning methodologies are still not used enough. In the project application, we therefore also focused on modern active learning methodologies. The consortium members needed to acquire new knowledge and experience in order to implement inclusive education learning and teaching methods.
