As a result of the project's activities, we want to raise students' environmental awareness and make the learning environment more modern and environmentally friendly. We want to make the school even more open, more environmentally aware, considering green thinking as natural and valuing mental and physical health more. We want to become more international through project activities. One of our goals was to improve the school's management system, making it more open than before. We wanted to involve more employees than before. We also wanted to gain valuable experiences/practices from European colleagues to integrate or further develop in our school. With the help of project activities, we planned to supplement and modernise the development plan of Kuristiku Gymnasium, so that learning migration experiences would support teaching. We started from the points of the school development plan in the project application: * international cooperation; * cooperation, joint learning, open management; * shaping a safe environment community-wide and globally; * improving the mental and physical environment. Participating in the project made it possible to see how environmental topics are implemented in teaching in European schools. The study migration project supported the self-development of employees, helping them to achieve better cooperation skills and raise environmental awareness. The long-term goal of the whole project was to apply the experiences of student migrants to school life in a practical and sustainable way. This was ensured by the different subject areas of those who migrated for study. We hoped to get inspiring ideas to achieve the above from the study tours.
Tallinna Kuristiku Gymnasium (TKG) Erasmus+ mobility project “Environmental awareness starts from school- Tallinna Kuristiku Gymnasium as an active and eco-school 2022“ goal was to increase the efficiency of the school’s chosen environmental direction. Providing environmental education is unavoidable nowadays and is integrated into all of the school subjects and competences. On the daily we integrate environmental topics into our school work through subjects, project days, outdoor learning, maintaining the school garden, long-day school etc. Our aim was to make environmental activities a more natural part of our daily lives. Our aim was to achieve a more open and inclusive leadership. Our aim was to get ideas how to better integrate our studies with the expectations of the society. As a long term goal, we wanted to implement the experiences of applicants to our school life in a practical and sustainable way. That is also the reason why we chose our participants from different subject areas.
