Objectives

The teachers have expressed their worries about their the level of English so our goal was to improve the level of English among the school staff to be involved in the international projects with other European schools. The second goal was to give teachers the opportunity to get new teaching and learning experience, knowledge how to implement the principles of the inclusive education, to expand the integration between the subjects and to enhance cooperative learning. Mobilities are the great way to share experience between educational professionals and to brush up on their teaching skills. All this will boost the confidence of the teachers in the professional field. All the mobilities have an effective input on the development of the school and every child.

Background

In Uhtna Põhikool's school curriculum and development plan there are three fields to develop: to use the principles of the inclusive education, implement the principles of the new learning approach and the school participating in international projects. Our school wishes to activate participating in new Erasmus+ projects, to give teachers possibilities to share their experience in different learning situations, to develop their knowledge about inclusive education and to expand integration between subjects. It is important to us that both our students and teachers become more self-directed learners. Educated teachers teach by personal example, by learning themselves and with new methods our learning environment helps to raise students motivation.
