We wanted to achieve that teachers had better skills of teaching in multicultural group and they got some international experience. All this was necessary to communicate with children and parents from other culture and give everybody the feeling of security in the kindergarten.
There is a multicultural environment in Tallinn Männi kindergarten. there was over 17% of children who are from other cultures and with other mother language. Teachers needed encouragement and better skills to manage this situation.
