Objectives

The improvement area of this study mobility was the improvement of the quality of teaching and educational work. The development of a system for working with gifted and talented students was consciously targeted. For us, this means a clear and well-thought-out plan that would help to spot the student's hidden strengths, support the student's all-round development, and create a solid structure for working with talented students. Participating in a mobility gave the participants the opportunity to learn to identify student strengths and abilities that may go unnoticed in a formal educational environment. In addition, various teaching methods and activities were discussed during the study tour, such as students' different learning styles and multiple intelligences, using multimedia and modern technology to enliven lessons, to motivate and encourage students to explore their own talents and self-management skills (different self-assessment questionnaires). The training was one part of a larger project, the output of which is the development of a plan for working with gifted students.

Background

The basic document for the school's strategic management is the school's development plan, in which, in the perspective of 2019-2022, the focus was on the development of five main areas (educational and educational activities, leadership and management, personnel management, cooperation, resource management). Study mobilities towards Europe are important from the point of view of the school's strategic development. In international study mobilities, we always focus mainly on improving the field of teaching and educational work, but we also touch on personnel management and cooperation. In addition to the goals set in the study mobility, the study orient to Europe allows to improve language skills, learn more about the culture, education system and trends of different countries, and create contacts for future cooperation projects. The planned teachers mobility was one stage of a longer school development process - the development of a system for supporting talented students. For us, this means a clear and well-thought-out plan that helps to identify a student's strengths, support their all-round development, and create a solid structure and methods for working with gifted students.
