The main goals were to development existing programs in the museum as well as initiate new ones. Especially in the case of new initiatives, the experience of foreign museums is especially valuable, because it helps to highlight most important and to talk about the needs of different communities and target groups in museums. Kumu Education Center is constantly renewing itself and wants to be a truly modern educational center.
Kumu Education Center aims to improve and develop programs for people with special needs and different communities. We also applied for the project in order to establish contacts and increase cooperation with universities and other organizations in the development of training opportunities. An important reason for applying was also the desire to develop professionally.
