As a young generation, it is our responsibility to take care of the planet before it is too late to fix the consequences of human actions. To be responsible citizens since young age we need to be better informed about the current issues, how our lifestyles affect those issues, and what can we do to come up with creative solutions. We see experiential learning as a great tool for young people like ourselves to enhance our knowledge and brainstorm on an international level. The overall aim of the project is to spark interest in environmental topics among young people so that they will become more eco-friendly, think critically about the issue and take steps in solving environmental problems in their communities. The specific objectives of GROW 2020 are: Make the participants more interested in environmental issues Encourage the participants to conduct environmental projects themselves. Encourage the participants to be more active, and passionate about solving environmental issues. Use international learning, innovation, and creativity as a key for addressing environmental problems. Creating a sense of love and appreciation towards nature amongst participants. Engaging youth from rural areas and providing them with knowledge and tools to give back to their rural communities.
