We believe that humans have a moral responsibility to animals that can be satisfied only by working toward an end to their suffering and exploitation. Animals of all kinds are often vulnerable to their environment, and it's up to us to make sure they get the love and attention they need. Whether you're helping the local animal shelter find dogs and cats their "forever homes," fighting against stray animal cruelty or building house for homeless cats, ensuring animal welfare is something we can all take part in. By implementing this project we want to be a voice for the animals, and continue to demand an end to the suffering these animals face each day. Therefor International Youth exchange "Put the kind back in mankind" aims to create a platform for the organisations involved in youth work to meet and establish contacts with motivated partners to address the identified need such as lack of education of youth in animal welfare field that can be met using non-formal educational methods and jointly implemented projects in the frame of Erasmus+ Programme. Within our project we seek to: 1. to create engaged youth who are respectful and compassionate citizens of the greater community 2. to cultivate empathy for animals and, as a result, decrease animal abuse in our society 3. to use education and law to advance animal rights and animal welfare 4. to encourage youth to strive for a sustainable society while protecting natural resources and the environment 5. to foster a sense of responsibility for youth act upon their personal beliefs 6. to give a change to youngsters to experience international volunteering and develop their skills
