Objectives

The project consist of one main activity which is the training course itself that provides all the relevant tools and space for use of these tools for participants. We want to carry out this activity to promote the use of digital tools in youth work and discuss its threats and opportunities. It is important to reflect on the way we communicate, reach out, promote our activities online and how it corresponds to what we are as professionals or organizations. We want to discover the topic further, promote it among our members, young people and local partners. We want to develop a useful up to date toolbox for us and other active youth NGO-s to use in their practice. The main activity addresses all the main issues tackled by the whole project: Need for development of youth workers/ youth leaders; Need for development of new innovative approaches in the digital era; Need for adjusting our online presence and operation to fit modern young people; Youth workers and youth leaders are evidently in need of practical experience, tools and frameworks for using digital tools, adjusting own work online and communicating as organizations. All this is done with daily reflection and activities that foster inter-cultural learning. The main activity is designed to have enough space and balance between building partnership, space for sharing experience and local situations connected to social issues, space for developing new ideas and also theoretical parts of gaining knowledge regarding large roleplaying and simulation games with educational aspect. The training course programme creates conditions that will enable participants to learn & gain new experience that is valuable for their personal &;professional life. Each day during the training period, will be built upon what has been done the previous day and further learning & discovery will be added.
