The students of the Chalkiades Primary School appear diversity in terms of socio-economic origins, learning abilities, and developmental characteristics. Each class reflects the shape of today's society. Teaching in this multicultural and complex context highlighted the need to train staff to be able to transform diversity from a threat to an opportunity and provide high-quality education. Through the co-financed Erasmus+ program and the European school development plan, teachers were given the opportunity to be trained in the management, encouragement, and inclusion of students from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, aiming to reduce marginalization and school dropout. Structured courses are the basis for ensuring a higher level of learning and an important opportunity for professional development and the development of multicultural classroom management skills. The ultimate goal was to create a supportive framework for the school to be a safe, creative, and welcoming environment where students will have a central role in the learning process and teachers will be supportive.
