Objectives

The goals we wanted to achieve with the implementation of the program were: -Promoting equality and inclusion by facilitating access for all those who come from disadvantaged social groups and have fewer opportunities compared to others. -The application of differentiated learning in many courses and from many specialties according to the principles of Universal Design (UDL). Also, the pursuit to bring to the surface the special abilities and inclinations of each student, so that they feel welcome and useful in the learning process and equal to their classmates. -The elimination of discrimination within the school through the introduction of arts and theatrical techniques in the educational process. Our goal was to achieve a climate of prosperity, unity and creativity. -The involvement of as many teachers as possible (different specialties, poor language proficiency, lack of training), so that the profit is multiple, such as to strengthen the professional profile of teachers, to develop our organization and the knowledge we would acquire to cover the full range of educational activities

Background

The reason we requested this project for our school staff was to train teachers in Inclusion issues, in order to create a "School for All". The growing flow of refugees and students with learning disabilities, the mixed classes and the lack of training of our teachers in matters of inclusion and differentiated learning have created the need for a KA1 project that will combine all these topics. Another reason why we requested this project was the continuation of European programs in our school, as we saw a great improvement in teaching methods, in the extroversion of the school unit and the activation of students and teachers with the previous European programs.
