Objectives

Specifically, with the proposed project we planned to: a) integrate innovative educational methods in the schools of the area such as differentiated teaching b) fight the phenomena of early school leaving and combat school failure c) capitalize on the acquired knowledge and skills that will be achieved by applying the job shadowing/observation technique so that other teachers can observe the impact of the method in the classroom d) the integration of the skills and knowledge of all the educational staff of the wider region e) strengthen the international profile of the schools by creating strategic partnerships and knowledge alliances

Background

The aim of this project was the training of teachers. This training on the principles of Differentiated teaching was considered important for the schools of the area, after a discussion with the teachers of the schools under the management of the directorate. Differentiated instruction was considered important to help students who cannot keep up with learning and are on the verge of dropping out of school because they fail every day, to renew their hopes for success in an education system that will better meet their needs. To encourage the creation of supportive, student-centered learning environments, characterized by positive interactive relationships and high expectations for the potential of all students. To strengthen active listening and the expression of different opinions and feelings. To empower children so that they develop not only communication and learning skills but also life skills.
