We focused on CREATING AN ENJOYABLE AND EFFECTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS that will meet the high expectations of families who invest in their children's education and at the same time support inclusion and retention of students with financial or other problems More specifically we choose 1.to develop effective, practical communication tools for better school relationships and community building 2.to strengthen and cultivate emotional skills and social intelligence skills 3.to implement practical activities for prosperity,group cohesion, sense of participation in the school community. 4.apply practical approaches to integrating conflict management into the curriculum 5.to assess students and comment on their progress using portfolios, rubrics and other forms of descriptive assessment
The consortium of the Lower High Schools of Elafonisos and Geraki and the Higher High Schools of Geraki and Neapolis, four small, isolated Schools of South-eastern Laconia was organized with the participation of the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of the Region of Peloponnese to deal with the depreciation of school units and the school leakage with the ultimate goal of fulfilling the Great Expectations for students we educate.
