Objectives

Through the mobility and specifically the training in the operation of geothermal systems, with an emphasis on shallow geothermal, the optimization of the systems using telemetry and data acquisition and the final energy saving, we expected to satisfy the needs of the increasing competitiveness and professional development of the students . Also, the students to have the opportunity to travel to a foreign European country to get to know the culture, the language and the culture and thus fulfill the need for the European experience. The 1st Laboratory Center of Grevena, as an organization, to improve its experience in cooperation programs, while the new knowledge and skills related to geothermal systems to be adopted in the curriculum of the relevant specialties. In fact, due to the upcoming plans of the Municipality of Grevena to install Geothermal Ground Heat Pumps, the students' training to have a direct impact on their professional development in their own city. We expect the teachers to get experience, which in combination with the contacts with companies and institutions in Bavaria to improve the quality of implementation and management of such projects. Finally, the school with the proposed mobility wishes to acquire additional European experience and orientation, to improve the staff's abilities in managing and organizing European programs, to integrate new thematic units in its educational content and to modernize educational practices according to the existing labor market .

Background

The 1st Laboratory Center of Grevena strives to provide high quality knowledge to its students. So, we try to include innovative educational actions which aim to monitor the evolution of technology in relation to the perspective of the professional rehabilitation of its graduates. We try to train the students of the technical specialties appropriately and to ensure that they can find a job in the modern working environment. In addition, we want the students to be able to use their technical skills in order to be active in the field of business. However, the influx of new technologies for all the specialties operating in the school is nil. The school is alienated, in relation to the modern and innovative technological fields applied in the European labor market. The reason we applied for this project is the imperative need for extroversion and to find agencies in technologically advanced European countries to strengthen our effort to integrate new technologies into the educational process.
