Objectives

This program was primarily aimed at training the staff of our school about the use of 3d printers in education as well as in the implementation of European program KA2, which was being implemented the previous period. In particular the needs that would be met through this program is for the teacher to be able to: • Recognize the use and application of educational theories 3D printing. • learn teaching methods and techniques to use 3D printing in education. • learn computational and design thinking skills and its main components. • Identify the hardware and software components used. • Plan courses, learn features that make the course more innovative. • Use planning, planning and execution to solve complex problems. • Use the ability to collaborate. • Ensure the use of effective communication methods and techniques. • Ensure the use of effective time management techniques. • Harmonize the educational staff with international practices. • Be informed about what is new in the specific type of robotics and how it is introduced into the educational programs of other countries.

Background

We applied for this program for the following reasons: So that our colleagues improve their knowledge about robotics and STEM and in particular what concerns 3D printing. So that teachers can learn how to introduce the 3D printing in their syllabus both as software which is used but as material also To get to know the different ways of 3D printing, the possibilities provided through them in education and the innovations it introduces. Finally to learn good practices of the use of this technology we can introduce into education. Also to explore the possibility of better training in other objects using 3D printing. To improve their cooperative ability. To improve the way knowledge is transmitted to students and to ignite their curiosity for new forms of teaching such as 3D printing. To get to know new educational systems and how the new innovative technologies that exists within them. To gain cultural experiences through the cultural visits. To improve their knowledge of the English language.
