Our students, from their placement in companies in Milan, Italy, we aimed to gain: (1) Work experience and certification thereof. (2) Improving their abilities and skills as well as acquiring new ones. E.g. Beauticians and Hairdressers with their placement in Spas and beauty centers and Hairdressers in salons in Milan, the center of world fashion, to observe in practice the developments in their field. Kindergarten teachers in nurseries should see European preschool education programs in practice, thus enriching their pedagogical knowledge and skills. Especially these days when Intercultural education is necessary due to the fact that in the kindergartens of our country there are children from almost all European countries. (3) Contact with a different European labor regime and comparison with the corresponding Greek one. (4) To adopt good practices that they can incorporate in their own professional area. (5) To improve and practice the English language. (6) To get to know a different cultural environment. (8) To acquire a European consciousness.
Within the framework of the quality for the developmant and internationalization of our school, we wanted our school to become attractive and respond to the requirements of the labour market in order to faciliate the transion from school to work and to imrove the career prospects of guaduates either in Creece or abroad.
