Our school decided to implement a Erasmus+ project with mobility, after careful consideration and identification of the streaming industry and the effect to students/teachers and the society in general. Our school, specifically targeted and achieved the following goals: • Upgraded the curriculum with specific professional skills, experience and abilities so that future learners can respond to the changing social working environment. • promoted innovation and connected the school to the wider market of the European community. • produced educational material, that will be used by the teachers of the school. • Strengthened, through innovative teaching methods and technologies, the curriculum that will respond to modern technological and educational developments, such as the use of new technologies in the digital economy • use of modern technologies to create dynamic digital content. • improved the communication, interaction and cooperation skills of the participants in the international environment. • offered a unique, life time experience to all participants
Erasmus+ programs offer many new and innovative learning experiences that meet the demands of modern education. Among the reasons for participating in an Erasmus+ project is that the fact that participants can familiarize with new teaching methods. In modern education, critical thinking and holistic approach problem solving skills are considered fundamental. Furthermore, an Erasmus+ program provides social skills which are vital for future working environments. Students live away from their home country for a short but sufficient period of time to get in touch with the culture of the host country. Daily interaction with people from all over the world dispels some of the myths and prejudices about other countries and broadens the students' way of thinking. Based on the above, we considered that the Erasmus+ program offers a unique educational life experience for both students and teachers. This opportunity would be almost impossible in the case of self-financing. Students become more responsible, independent, mature and better prepared for the next steps in their lives.
