Upon completion of our plan our goal was to: - For students in the field of administration and economics, to get to know medical tourism and the organization of tourist packages offering special services such as telemedicine. - For students in the field of Health - Welfare and Wellness, to acquire the ability to act in cross-cultural environments, to operate telematics equipment to perform medical procedures remotely and to manage electronic medical records. - For the students of the Informatics and Electronics-Electronics fields to learn about special software to support telemedicine, to learn about privacy protocols, the installation of communication systems and networks that support teleconferences between medical teams. - To practice the use of the English language and to be trained in entrepreneurship.
The work and business opportunities of the graduates of the 2nd Vocational Lyceum of Evosmos in telemedicine and especially in health tourism, are the framework of our plan. Medical tourism in the Mediterranean is an area where investments are focused due to its comparative advantages. However, our students lack the appropriate resources to work and operate in Medical Tourism and telemedicine, while there are opportunities for Nurses in the Health Sector, for Tourism Business executives in the Finance and Administration Sector and for Technicians in the IT Sectors and Electronics - Electrology. We hope that this lack and gap has been covered by our plan. Our plan included includes three streams: 1st stream: 10 Health Sector students in Barcelona, Spain 2nd stream: 10 IT and Electronics - Electrical Engineering students in Barcelona, Spain 3rd stream: 9 students of the Department of Economics and Management in Valencia, Spain.
