Background

ECEtt (European Companionship in Education-training by travel) is a European knowledge exchange network between therapeutic communities for addicted people (www.ecett.eu). The training method through the transfer of experience (created and evaluated by the program "ECEtt Pilot 2006-2008" funded by the Leonardo daVinci program) enabled many European partners of the ECEtt network to exchange knowledge and build a database of "good practices" on the treatment of addicts, dual diagnosis, vocational training and social reintegration. The aim of this project is to enable the continuation of the exchanges and database of "good practices" started with the ECEtt Pilot. The project is also linked to the "Transfer Of Innovation" project submitted by ECEtt to the "Leonardo da Vinci" program 2009-2011. The aim of the latter project is the evaluation and dissemination of education through the transfer of experience, as well as the connection of this method with academic education (accreditation).
