The implementation of this project would help our organization to acquire the necessary extroversion of a European Environmental Education Center in the way we envision it in order to educate citizens on such sensitive issues as those of the environment and the inclusion of different groups in the local society. Also, in addition to the European dimension that we wanted to give to our educational programs, the creative assimilation of good practices from other countries as well as the enrichment of our practices at both an administrative and pedagogical level was considered important. Our trainers would train and then "train" both the other members of our Teaching Team and the other trainees.
This project was deemed necessary for the improvement of the Organization, both in terms of the personal and professional level of the participants and in the overall operation of the Agency. The geographical location and the constantly changing conditions require the adaptation of educational structures to them as well as their modernization in order to fully satisfy the needs of all learners. Through our participation in this project, we considered that its functions and its role as an educational institution in the prefecture of Lasithi and in the wider Region of Crete will be substantially upgraded. The extroversion of a public organization located quite far from the capital is not easily achieved and the training opportunities available to members of our Teaching Team are limited.
