The plan objectives are: 1. Acquisition and cultivation of horizontal skills and digital literacy: A. Development of critical thinking through: - practical and meaningful interaction with works of art, whether live or through digital material, - practicing open research in interdisciplinary fields, - understanding and using art as a motivation for the development of horizontal skills, - providing and practicing creative ideas and practical resources for successful project implementation based on the art. B. Development and cultivation of creativity through: - understanding the creative process and its practical application, - control of the large amount of information, especially in the context of digital media, and proper utilization - practicing effective communication skills and techniques - broadening the ways and opportunities of cooperation in the classroom and beyond, through ICT. C. Use of digital media (social networks, etc.) for effective communication, collaboration, promotion, dialogue, as well as practicing critical and creative thinking. 2. Strengthening of Learning Communities through the offer of new seminars for educators. 3. Transnational Dimension and Professional Development of the participants.
Soft-skills, such as critical thinking, creative expression and effective communication are necessary qualifications of constant value in a world where the technical-scientific knowledge (hard-skills) of today may have little value in the immediate future. The correct use of digital media and collaborative tools, combined with critical thinking and creative expression are the key elements of so-called digital literacy. In the modern context of digital communication (social networks, tele-collaboration, etc.) digital literacy requires educational approaches that will aim at the development of critical and creative thinking as well as productivity and adaptability in a rapidly changing information society . This plan covers needs on two levels: 1. At the level of knowledge and skills of adult educators: Training and practice in educational approaches aimed at strengthening critical and creative thinking as well as digital literacy of students. 2. At the organizational level, EEPEK aims to create and offer seminars for the above knowledge and skills of trainers.
