The activities of the program had an experiential nature and were based on teamwork aimed at the participants' expression, interaction, cooperation, sharing. All education activities were always in relation to the principles and objectives of non-formal learning in education. The activities that were implemented were shaped in such a way to create the appropriate educational context in which the participants were familiarized through the theater in understanding the dimensions related to their work integration. Starting from the first day of the program, a presentation was made of how the week is going to flow and the goal and aspirations of the program were described. In order to have a warm welcome for each participant, at the beginning emphasis was placed on familiarization games, ice breaking exercises, in order for everyone to get to know each other, relax and start actively entering the non-formal learning process. The program that was followed is presented in more detail: • 1st day: arrival of participants, welcome dinner, and free evening • 2nd day: Explanation of the week program. Establish framework and rules. Meeting members through the activation of the imagination and creativity of the participants. Exercises to develop trust between team members. • 3rd day: Experiential exercises of self-awareness and development of social and professional skills through the art of theater and drama therapy. • 4th day: Exploration of Athens, research in the center of Athens in relation to professions, the difficulties but also the characteristics of each profession through conversation with people and mini- interviews. • 5th day: Development of self-perception and skills, development of teamwork for the implementation and creation of the video. • Day 6: Creating the video. Thus, the program of the first two days aimed at developing the concept of drama and drama therapy, as well as how it can work by targeting emotional expression and what impact this can have on a person's life. On the third day of the program, emphasis was placed on the participants to understand at a deeper level issue related to professional integration and emphasis was placed on exercises aimed at developing their social and professional skills. In the final phase, the participants were invited to develop their professional skills in the design of innovative educational activities through the utilization of the learning experience, to represent with dramatization techniques the obstacles and challenges they may face in the labor market and to create in practice through a collaborative, creative and energetic process, the video "Drama Work Experience II". They were therefore divided into working groups, where each group actively took part in the educational process by taking on specific responsibilities, something that helped the practical experience as well as the theoretical training of the participants. The video created was shown on the organization's social media, and on the personal social media of the participants. The program was attended by 25 young people from 5 organizations (Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Italy and Slovakia), 17 young people aged 18-25, 7 young people aged 26-30 and 1 young person over 30 years old, who expressed interest for non-formal learning and the philosophy of Youth Exchange programs such as "Drama Work Experience II". All organizations were represented by one (1) Peer leader and four (4) participants, except the Italian organization which was represented by 1 team leader and 3 participants, and the Greek team was represented by 1 team leader and 5 participants. The young people were selected by our organizations/partners based on their genuine interest in this program. An effort was made to have a balanced representation of women and men as this is a necessary condition for a democratic society. However, the theme of the program attracted more women. Specifically, 15 female participants and 10 male participants. Finally, we should mention that all the activities during the program were implemented in different and alternating groups. Teams were randomly drawn each time, usually over a few minutes of play, so that the teams were evenly matched.
Considering that the work rehabilitation of young people is on one of the main priorities during their young and later life, but also it can cause them disappointment, social withdrawal, feelings of inferiority, low motivation and low self-esteem which arise from the difficulty finding an occupation that suits each young person. As far as art is concerned, through our experience it can be a way of expressing the feelings of every young person, but also is way for them to understand themselves, their needs, to think about the difficulties that may arise during the duration of the professional search, either of the professional course and therefore to create ways and techniques of managing these difficulties. Various art techniques were used to achieve all the above. It is a way for each young person to work on their internal obstacles within a group framework of interaction and sharing in order to approach work with a new perspective decisive for the process of their work integration. Through such a group program, we aimed to empower and mobilize young people through theatrical techniques in the approach to work integration as well as to transmit the acquired knowledge to young people of their country. Our purpose through such a program was to promote art in therapy, the education of young people and their employment integration. Our organization, as it is particularly interested in the activation and experiential education of young people, has established CONNECT YOUR CITY youth centers, in order to include young people in the active learning process through programs through which they will become active citizens in civil society and at the same time have the opportunity for intercultural exchange. In this context, the specific European program was implemented, and it gave young people the opportunity to find themselves in a safe and familiar environment, to get to know each other, and to work together in order to use non-formal learning while strengthening intercultural exchange and cooperation, in a framework of mutual respect, acceptance of diversity promoting collaborations and partnerships across Europe. The purpose of the program was also the development of personal, professional, and social skills of young people across Europe to facilitate their work integration with a positive and substantial impact on young people as well as on the wider society. This program was designed to form a basis for the creation of larger future programs supported by Erasmus+ and carried out by a specific department for the development of international actions of our organisation.
