The primary goal of "Create a Climate for Change" is for the participants to gain, through this empowering process, a motive for action as well as a better understanding of climate change as a major environmental issue. We carry out this project in order to activate the young participants to take initiatives and make them realize that every person and every small effort, regarding saving the earth, matters.We want to provide the youth will all the required knowledge, tools and calls to actions in order to create a more engaged and active community regarding living an eco-friendly life and respecting the nature. The objectives of this project are: -To provide participants with the knowledge on what exactly climate change is. -To teach the participants what is causing it and who is affected. -To inform the participants what can each of us do to combat climate change. -To empower them to change their everyday habits in order to make their life more eco-friendly. -To study the social impacts of climate change and to address the challenges. -To promote the exchange of expertise and sharing of good practices. -To enable youth to take into account the environment in their daily lives in order to become a way of life. -To teach the importance of recycling and upcycling as well as promote the zero-waste and plastic-free lifestyle. -To empower young people to organize their own environmental projects back in their countries and inspire their peers. -To learn the sustainable use of natural resources with a focus on the participation of young people and the communities in it. -To draw the attention of the street, the media and public opinion to the issues related to the dangers of climate change and pollution in Greece and highlight the disasters that affect people's lives. -To help the participants develop some important skills, such as, teamwork, verbal communication, public speaking, foreign language, presentation, confidence and understanding multiculturalism.
