We applied for this project in order to foster the use of 4C's in the classroom with our secondary students to explore the 4C's practices of the partner countries and apply them in all areas in a transversal way. At the same time, we wanted to gain a clear understanding of the use of the 4C's in our classrooms, to acquire new skills and more effective communication techniques that allow us to access new methodologies in order to meet the needs of students. Another point was concerned with cooperation and collaboration with other schools through Job Shadowing, so that our teachers at the centre have the opportunity to observe first-hand good practices in other local and international centres.
Our centre decided to apply for KA1 project because of teachers' needs, due to the fact that our centre implemented into the curriculum transversal PBL with the use of 4C's. At this point, a group of seven teachers, from Biology, IT and FL, detected the necessity to foster the use of 4C's into their lessons. At this point, we decided to move it forward and apply for KA1 in order to gain knowledge throughout course structures and school experience throughout job-Shadowing.
