The objectives of the project are to increase the number of teachers with good communication skills in English and French; increase our European dimension by sharing experiences with other colleagues, learning new methodologies and/or innovative practices that help us prevent low student performance, school dropout and conflictivity; enable future collaborations with collaborating schools that involve students; increase the number of teachers involved in the management of Erasmus+ projects and motivate them to design and implement European projects.
The IES Santa Aurelia is a Secondary Education School on the suburbs of the city of Seville, Andalusia, in a lower-middle class environment with few job opportunities. Our students have few expectations of internationalization due to the poor development of their language skills, in addition to the fact that their level of motivation and their academic results are low. We have requested this project because our teachers need motivation and new approaches to meet the challenges of the situation described.
