The objectives that we set ourselves once the areas for improvement have been identified are: - Deepen the CLIL methodology, one of the areas for improvement that the teachers involved in the project demand. We must not forget that all of our ESO students are bilingual. - Increase the number of teachers and/or areas involved in the project. The training offer that we are offering is an incentive to encourage both the inclusion of new teachers and to count on the one that is not definitive (and with which is already being worked on in a positive way), at least in the next two academic years. - Improve the teaching and linguistic skills of language teachers by exploring active methodologies in the language teaching/learning. In this way we favor attention to diversity and to the most disadvantaged. - Promote international cooperation and increase the network of contacts for future projects and associations. - Disseminate European added value. Erasmus offers us an opportunity to explore new educational practices that offer us solutions to the constant challenges we encounter in the classroom.
IES Sierra de Gádor belongs to the network of bilingual centers in Andalusia, which deeply affects the organization and the teaching practice itself. All CSE lines are bilingual and the number of subjects involved went from 3 to the current 4: PE, geography and history, technology and mathematics. However, the participation of more teachers is increasingly necessary to apply some of the attention to diversity measures offered by the school. We believe that with this type of training actions, teachers are motivated to get involved in such important projects in our school and hence its title, since the promotion of bilingualism must start from the initiatives and good practices of teachers.
