Our institution wanted to improve the competences of the teaching staff, we wanted to improve in the teaching of mathematics, science and art with digital technologies, in preivous courses we had implemented the use of the digital classroom notebook with Additio,this was a turning point in teacher training. From them on, we began to consider the introduction of digital tecnologies futher and to make them reach our students. For years, in the area of technologies we had been inroducing the use of robots in the classroom, in plastic education we had introduced the use of design programs, ad we were also working together in different areas such as mathematics, plastic and technology. All these small steps that we being taken together with the use of digital tools, we wanted to improve and strenghten them. In addition to getting tools to improve the motivation of our students in the classroom and the application of what was learned y the classroom outside of it in their daily lives. Therefore, we consder it essential to learn how this process is being carried out in other centers that are European and global references when it comes to the application of STEAM in education.
Our center has an experience of more than thirty years in teaching, we started with Vocational Training and it has been gradually expanding. Today, we teach three cycles of Vocational Training Middle Grade, Basic Vocational Training and Secondary. Our staff of about twenty teachers, has extensive experience in participation in European programs, we also have a motivated and involved in a continuous and quality training. That is why our school also participates in a large number of regional programs such as Ecoescuelas, Aula de Cine, Forma Joven and Aula de Jaque. This desire for improvement leads us to seek interaction with European educational centers to observe and analyze examples of good practices, as well as to try to find solutions to the difficulties faced by our students in the study of English. We seek to improve the educational quality and motivation of our students and how important are the skills of using new technologies in education, as well as having the best knowledge of these so that they can be applied to and get the most out of them.
