- To promote educational innovation through the observation of teaching methodologies that pursue the development of student autonomy, enhancing their ability to choose, as well as offering different possibilities for organizing and planning their own learning in an active and creative way. - To establish and rewrite our new pedagogical guidelines based on multidisciplinary work. Our current curriculum encourages us to focus on competencies, but the existence of subjects and the distribution of content and objectives by areas makes it difficult to achieve that purpose. - To design new educational spaces that favor the autonomy of our students. - To improve the linguistic competence of our teachers and students. - To design an action plan in accordance with the practice of sustainable development focusing on aspects as recycling, care for the environment, non-polluting sustainable energy and responsible consumption.
The beginning of our work experiences in Europe began in 2015 through a collaboration with a school in the Czech Republic and another in England, in a project based on traditional games from the three countries. Since the 16/17 academic year, the Center's Educational Project formulated the approach of opening towards the outside, transcending the borders of our country and allowing us to discover other educational realities. In this sense, it is our priotrity to strengthen the international dimension of education through the exchange of experiences and the development of projects that favor and improve our educational process. Since then, our school has participated in several European projects that include both teacher training activities and student exchanges, assuming the coordination of the latter project. The current needs of our center include an improvement at a methodological level and creating ne spaces, as well as the inclusion of the work of the SDGs with our students. It is also necessary to improve the level of communication in foreign languages of our teachers. This project has served to help give response to these needs.
