The main objective is to improve coexistence in the school and to learn new methodologies and tools to change our current punitive model for a model based on positive discipline. The experience of this project is intended to motivate all the teachers of our school as well as to prepare them to face the challenges towards an education based on positive discipline. This is why the school requested 2 members of the teaching staff to undertake a five-day job shadowing period in a European educational institution (Job Shadowing) in order to serve as a starting point for redesigning our school's coexistence plan, as well as to contrast and compare didactic actions with good results.
This Erasmus + KA101 project promoted by the IES Granadilla de Abona arises from the results of surveys conducted in our educational community, which led us to reflect on how to improve coexistence with the search for successful experiences carried out in other countries of the European Community.
