The objectives that we had set for ourselves in our project, and described in the form, fell into two categories: some general objectives and another group of specific objectives, which are as follows: GENERAL 1) Improve educational quality through the incorporation of new learning methods. 2) Ensure educational equity and equal opportunities. 3) Promote European citizenship and the feeling of belonging to the European Union 4) Develop a global, democratic, environmental, parity and social conscience. 5) Develop interculturality, respect for diversity, integration and equal growth of cultures. 6) Create new cooperation and collaboration networks with European schools. 7) Expand visions, minds and expectations. SPECIFIC 1) Develop professional teaching skills. 2) Share good practices between professionals from different countries. 3) Promote and give value to the continuous training of teachers. 4) Learn new methodologies, methods and pedagogical techniques. 5) Improve linguistic competence in English. 6) Improve digital competence.
We applied for this project because we wanted to give our center a methodological boost. We came from two school years working very well, involved in the educational transformation of our center and implemented methodologies that worked. But we needed a push, to visit educational centers that did things very well to learn them, bring them and integrate them into our centers and train us in high quality courses. And not only did we want to participate in this project to promote the pedagogical change we were looking for, but also because we believe in European unity and in the cooperation of the countries of the Union. By participating in this project, we would not only be able to create an even broader network of partners, but we would also continue to contribute to making Europe more democratic and more equitable. Thanks to this project, and to previous European projects that we have participated in, we have managed to encourage other centers in our area to participate in Erasmus projects and we have also managed to get educational centers from other countries to visit us.
