This project has been presented with the intention of knowing how the Nordic countries (Sweden and Finland in particular) approach education. It is well known that these countries are governed by high-quality educational systems, so we decided from the center that it would be a great opportunity to benefit from and learn methodologies, strategies and tools that could be useful for us to carry out in our school with our students. Likewise, we decided that the participants would go to different countries in order to acquire a greater range of experiences and be able to share them later. Other objectives that we had with the realization of this project, although more in the background, were to continue improving linguistic skills in English and the fact of being able to establish links and create friendships with possible future partners from other member states of the European Union.
The project has been drafted because from the center we have always been interested in Nordic education, in how pioneering countries in education approach education. Therefore, we believe that it would be a great opportunity to take a course in these countries in order to acquire knowledge, tools and extract all the information to extrapolate it in the context of our educational center, as well as implement active and experiential methodologies for students to work and learn through experience. Thus, our main objective was, through the observation of Nordic education, to be able to make a reflexive criticism of our educational system and how we can implement according to what methodologies or educational experiences.
