Objectives

The objectives that we have set ourselves from the beginning have been the following: 1- Improve the internationalization of the center. Develop new international projects that, together with those that are already being carried out, mobilize both students and teachers and staff from all educational stages of the center. That these actions help to establish the vision and the European dimension as something fundamental within our educational system to complete its full incorporation as an essential part of our PEC. 2- Teacher training. Acquire new key competencies to address the challenges that are presented to us in the classroom. 3- Become aware of the importance of care and respect for the environment and learn to incorporate this awareness into our classes in order to transmit it to the students. 4- Ongoing renewal and quality management, adapting to the needs of the center as new challenges arise and evaluating each novelty in order to respond in the most effective way possible. Increase teacher training to acquire new key competencies and thus address the new challenges that we encounter in the classroom every day.

Background

The IES Camp de Morvedre is a public Secondary School where you can take ESO, Baccalaureate and Training Cycles in Computer Science and 3D Animation. In this context, it has always been Vocational Training that has mostly participated in recent years in European programs such as Erasmus+ or FCT Europe and projects through E-Twinning. However, Secondary Education had been relegated to the background (with the exception of the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years, in which it was part of a Comenius Regio project). Promoting the opportunities that Europe offers us with the Erasmus+ program has become a priority for our new management team in the last two years, since we see it as a tool for curricular / professional development and also on a personal level, both for teachers, as well as for students and for the rest of the center's workforce, who can benefit from the learning resulting from these mobilities.
