Having a new management team in 2019 was crucial for applying for this project, and the director decided to consolidate the internationalization plan as an essential feature of our school. The objectives are generally aligned with the commitment to modernization and internationalization, which are fundamental for providing equitable, quality, and inclusive education. It is our goal to prepare responsible citizens for the good of the individual and for the welfare of society as a whole. This European Development Plan aimed to prevent school failure and early dropouts, The teaching and learning of foreign languages and the implementation of environmental values. We also visited some partner European schools and made contact with new partners for future collaborations.
Our hallmark is to provide a quality and solidary education, through an inclusive, international, multilingual and safe environment. Every student should have a wide range of training opportunities. Our experience shows us that both, students and teachers, should have enriching international experiences as an essential value in their career. It helps to open minds and to acquire more responsibility, increase their motivation and stimulate European awareness. Also it develops a greater interest in culture and the world around. The variety of languages offered by our high school is a consequence of our deep europeanist vocation. We promote mobility of students and teachers and interchange with European countries in order to follow this conviction. Starting from our bilingual programs, and extending it to the rest of the departments, we saw the need of being trained in new methodologies that contemplated foreign languages as a requirement and an essential tool for teaching and learning. Finally, our high school promotes the positive interaction of our students with their physical environment, making them aware of the need to respect it and ensure its sustainability.
