The main objectives that we set for ourselves in carrying out this project were: 1. Increase the professionalization of the center's staff through internationalization activities and the exchange of good practices, methodologies, tools and the observation of different ways of working in another country. 2. Achieve the possible levels of excellence in our professionals that make it possible to offer our students the best available offer, not only at a national level but also at a European level. 3. Improve professional skills, mainly linguistic, digital and learning to learn. 4. Expand knowledge about the inclusive school model and how the work of students with special educational needs is addressed in another European country. 5. Discover good practices that enable us to improve our daily reality (real impact of the actions carried out).
We request this project because our center is constantly immersed in research processes. The fact of being able to open our borders to new European horizons supposes a high motivation for the professionals who carry out our work in this Special Education school. Working with these students is immensely complex; therefore, knowing how other centers work and how Special Education is dealt with in another country helps us, without a doubt, to be able to improve our professional skills (digital, linguistic and learning to learn). We continually position ourselves at the forefront of educational innovation, playing a notable role as a center of resources and support for the rest of the educational community. We are part of Europe and so we have to integrate it into our school philosophy and into our Educational Project.
