1. To reduce the school drop-out rate in the different levels of ESO to 10% by means of cooperative student work, teamwork between teachers and students through methodologies such as PBL and RLA, the use of online tools and gamification activities and the reinforcement of the emotional aspects of the students. 2. Establish regular contact and a constant link with the pupils' schools of origin in order to gather information and successful actions with the families of pupils at risk of social exclusion. 3. Promote joint actions with the different social agents who live with the families of the most socially disadvantaged pupils in order to reduce social inequality and allow these people to adopt a proactive role in their training for their future incorporation into the world of work, through the gradual inclusion of Learning Communities in the centre. 4. Promote and participate in a network of European centres that share successful experiences to reduce school failure, through language training for teachers and CLIL methodology.
Our school has aimed, among other things, to reduce the school dropout rate and to promote cooperative work in the classroom, as both aspects could be improved. On the other hand, in the last 4 years we have developed several European projects, trying to contribute to strengthen the objectives foreseen for the period 2020-2022. Our experience so far in Erasmus+ projects has been very satisfactory, having incorporated into our teaching practice different successful experiences from other European centres thanks to the different Erasmus+ mobility and cooperation projects carried out. That is why we consider Erasmus projects as a very relevant support for the improvement of our daily work, with great impact on the entire educational community and that allows us to implement measures of great significance in our environment, very difficult to achieve otherwise. The transforming capacity that previous Erasmus projects have meant for our school, together with the need to address aspects of great social impact such as school dropout or methodological changes of the teaching staff, have been the main reasons why this project was requested.
