Background

The request for this project called "Competences for a multilingual school" responds to various needs of the school. First of all, continue with the long tradition of European projects that our educational center has. Next, to offer an opportunity for the linguistic and methodological updating of teachers, which responded to the demands of the younger sector, very interested in new methodologies and in the use of different languages in the classroom. Finally, the new multilingualism decree and the implementation of the classroom of the future decreed by the educational authorities of our region required training in this regard. Likewise, due to the pandemic, the dynamics of carrying out European projects had suffered a drastic slowdown in the school, which caused the existence of these projects to go unnoticed among teachers and students. This project has made it possible to reawaken interest among the educational community, which has allowed the continuation of these activities through the acquisition of the Erasmus+ 21-27 Accreditation.
