Objectives

The main objectives that we have wanted to achieve in our organization are articulated in different dimensions and respond to needs linked to teaching and learning, especially aimed at the integration of students, new teaching tools, knowledge of the European dimension, and the development of language skills. 1) Teaching and learning. We wanted to look for centers that provide us with methodological ideas to deal with inclusion and integration of foreign or refugee students as well as promoting respect and understanding diversity. 2) New tools or teaching methods. Methodological tools are constantly changing and we need to be updated with this aspect, which is why we wanted to research and learn about other points of view in order to put it into practice with our students. 3) European dimension. Through this project we would like to continue with our training at the center through the Erasmus + programme. We wanted to continue with the history of Erasmus + programmes in our center and continue to be part of this community so as not to leave our students behind and make them part of all these experiences. 4) Language skills:Our teaching staff has an important level of foreign languages and we wanted to continue improving it.

Background

From our school we have wanted to continue with the path of Erasmus projects that we started a few years ago. The results that we have been seeing have always been positive and the enthusiasm shown by both students and teachers has been clear throughout these years. In our application form we always highlight the fact that we are a rural center that welcomes students from small towns attached to our school and who do their secondary and post-secondary studies there. They are students who in many cases lack the opportunity to travel, to develop extracurricular activities and these projects open the European doors to them and allow them to see that there is more world outside their places. The teachers who do the mobilities introduce the students to the place they have visited and what they have learned and put it into practice with them. This aspect is perhaps the most important in a project of these characteristics and what we highlight as the final and main objective: that our students benefit themselves from all the activities that this program offers.
