Objectives

When we presented the project we had very clear objectives ahead of us and we have chosen the training courses to be able to reach those aims. Our first target has always been the internalization of our school, through bilingüism, CLIL subjects, or the European dimension of the school. Our second goal was the appropiate training of one of our teachers in terms of leadership. The third has to do with meeting the student diversity. This is an objective we have always felt very committed with through our orientation department which runs special activities and reinforcements to meet the needs, not only of students with poor learning faculties, but also the necessities that our students with high capacities have. We are even now teaching a TEA class. To finish with, our novel aim: a few years ago we had the chance to start offering an Arts itineraty, that is why we had a great interest in learning how other schools in Europe developed those teachings.

Background

San Viator School has been participating in European school projects for more than 25 years: Sócrates, Comenius, Erasmus+ and we are eager to continue implementing projects that allow our students to achieve a not only academic education, but a total care one, that includes the European aspect, the multilingual one, open to tolerance, to empathy, inclusion, implication and collaboration; values that our school has traditionally fostered. To carry out this objective, we need that our teachers receive a suitable and appropiate training so that they can lead the path.
