With the PROYECTAMOS BESALÚ (PROJECTING BESALÚ) program we aim to achieve the following objectives: -improve the professional capacity of our teachers in terms of PBL teaching so they can become experts and promote the inclusion of open and innovative methodologies in our school. -create a group of teachers who will observe and analyze international projects to be able to replicate foreign PBL programs in our school. -programme several projects in every educational stage some in English to help improve the linguistic competence of our students. -Improve the linguistic competence of our English teachers. -Start a process of internationalization of our school to solve the problem of isolation it encounters because of its geographical location. -Establish international contacts for a future KA2 program.
Salvador Vilarrasa high school places a big bet on introducing PBL (project based learning) in the different areas of the curriculum. We consider it interesting for some of our teachers to get specific training on the topic and be able to job shadow some schools in Europe that have experience in the application of this methodology. This practice would: -give the school’s management strategies to learn how to introduce PBL in the educational project and as a school core value. -give the opportunity to some members of our community to be trained in innovative methodologies and to improve their competence in the English language. -establish contacts with European schools for future collaboration and new mobility (exchange) projects. -have a positive effect on the teachers of our school by transferring the acquired knowledge through an internal training. -promote more language exposure environments for the students and encourage them to participate in international exchange Erasmus programs
