With our European development plan, we were looking for: Promote the European dimension, with an increase in mobility, in this case, of teachers, coordinators and members of the management team. Improve foreign language skills, with real language immersion experiences starting with our faculty. Acquire new educational methodologies and new work skills, with the expansion of knowledge in practices and methodology, incorporating the learning of training activities. Achieve greater professional training seeking excellence, quality and innovation, through international cooperation Finally, implement all these improvements in the classroom, achieve a transformative environment, modernizing the teaching and learning process. Focused on the areas we wanted to improve: CLIL methodology and organization of the bilingual program, environmental sustainability, emotional learning and educational innovation and use of ICT, we defined the three objectives: Improve the training in CLIL methodology of teachers in bilingual / multilingual sections and linguistic competence, know other educational realities and new methodologies, in our priority areas.
Our school is a concerted bilingual center of Infant, primary and Secondary, with around a thousand students. Within the strategic lines of our institution, belonging to FEC Schools, is the LE3. Pedagogical innovation: opt for pedagogical innovation models, creative and open, that promote integral and inclusive education and that promote the development of personal talent and key competences. We are very clear about the importance of being in permanent training to respond to the challenges that arise in today's school and the need to prepare for the challenges of the future. Hence the title of our project: Building a school for the future. We are committed to innovation and active learning, so, in parallel to a whole process of methodological innovation, we started a process of opening the school to Europe. Within our European Development Plan, we saw the need to promote in the faculty the possibility of participating in international professional development opportunities. Therefore, this has been one of our first objectives, giving our faculty expectations of professional improvement and of the teaching practice itself, improving methodologies.
