Background

We found several needs in the three axes of the educational community (teachers, students and school) that we as teachers had to face. These needs were: 1. INCLUSION OF STUDENTS IN THE CLASSROOM AND SCHOOL. We needed to learn motivation techniques for the integration and evolution of students with high or low abilities. 2. BRINGING STUDENTS CLOSER TO SOLUTIONS TO SAVE THE PLANET. Our students needed more information about environmental problems and solutions to be more responsible with the environment. 3. ADAPTATION OF THE SPACES AND MATERIALS OF THE SCHOOL TO THE DIFFERENT NEEDS OF THE STUDENTS AND TO THE NEW ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY. We needed to adapt the spaces of the school to the physical and cognitive realities, and be trained in European agreements for sustainability within the classroom and school. 4. NEW METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES IN INCLUSION, DIVERSITY AWARENESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION. We needed to acquire knowledge for an inclusive education in our school, and to foster an ecological mentality. 5. INTERNATIONALISATION. We needed to learn about inclusive education in different EU countries and examine the main environmental issues within a global perspective.
