As specified in our previous section, and as indicated in our European Development Plan, the The main areas of our organization that we wanted to improve were: - Linguistic training. - The incorporation of ICTs into the educational context of languages. - Social inclusion and dedicated support for students with SEN and functional diversity. - European culture. - The integral management of a School Library. - The ability to implement an Erasmus KA2 project led by our center. The competencies to be improved were: a) For teachers. - Linguistic skills in the internationalization process. - ICT skills in language teaching. - Cultural competences in the realization of complementary, extracurricular activities and of revitalization of the library. - Quality skills in managing Erasmus KA2 projects. b) For the management team. - Management skills of an inclusive center. - Internationalization management skills. - Cultural activities management skills. - Organizational skills of large European projects. c) for the students. - Linguistic skills. - Cultural competences.
We have requested this project to provide a solution to the following needs detected in our European Development Plan: a) Priority attention to the group of students with Special Educational Needs and Functional Diversity, for which it is necessary to receive specific training in the matter from all points of view (didactic, emotional and adaptability to the situation). b) The improvement of the linguistic capacities of the teachers of the Department of International Projects, which is made up of a group of teachers without specific qualifications in languages, as well as specific language teachers for the progressive incorporation of new technologies into the classroom. c) The revitalization of the center's library and the Complementary and Extracurricular Activities Department, for which it is necessary to receive specialized training in the matter with two short-term priority objectives: 1º) Continue organizing new cultural activities with new ideas and a more international vision of them. 2º) Begin to develop in 2021 a strategic association project related to the subject and that involves several European schools and two long years.
