As general objectives of the center we highlight the following: -Promote the mastery of foreign languages. - Continue using the CLIL methodology in different subjects in order to continue promoting the Institute's multilingual project. - Betting on the application of technologies for learning and knowledge (TAC), promoting the use of transversal competence in the digital field, - Commitment to educational innovation in general. - Promote and increase aspects of the Inclusive school - Green school (objective added a posteriori as it is a project postponed from the 2020 course) With this mobility project, the center intends to offer its teachers opportunities to acquire new skills related to the needs of the center. -Improve professional, foreign language and digital skills -Improve knowledge of education practices, policies and systems -Improve the quality of teaching and learning activities -Improve the response to social, linguistic and cultural diversity -Increase motivation and job satisfaction
The Pons d'Icart Institute is a public center in Catalonia, with three lines of ESO and 3.5 lines of Baccalaureate of 4 modalities, with a staff of 56 teachers and 580 students. Located in the historic center of the city close to institutions and main cultural facilities. This project was requested for the following purposes: For the SCHOOL -Internationalization: international contacts, study visits to different institutions in other countries, etc. -Modernization / Update: new methodologies -More impact of English in the center For the TEACHERS -Training in English to improve communication skills -Motivation -Certification. -CLIL methodology and activities. -Improve ICT competence -Exchange experiences with teachers from other countries. -International contacts. For STUDENTS offer them: Motivation, linguistic impulse and adaptation of the curriculum to a European environment. Modernize and adapt teaching.
