The objectives of this project for each of the organisations participating in the provincial consortium are as follows: - Provincial Delegation of Education, as coordinator of the consortium: 1. To facilitate the internationalisation of rural schools in order to provide greater significance to the learning acquired by the students, exchanging successful strategies with other centres through collaborative working groups. 2. To establish and strengthen collaborative links with other European organisations. - IESO Belerma: 1. To integrate the key competences related to the Bilingual Programme in the curriculum of the DNL subjects and the Foreign Language subject, seeking a multidisciplinary approach in the centre, improving the CLIL methodology approach of the teaching staff. 2. To learn about innovative educational practices, improving efficiency in the use of digital tools and online applications applied to education. 3. To internationalise the school in order to break down invisible barriers to contact and relationships with other European schools. - SES Nerpio: 1. To enhance the internationalisation of the educational community, 2. To improve teaching skills through new methodologies and the use of ICT.
The main reason for requesting this project is the need detected by the Provincial Delegation of Education of Albacete to support schools located in small rural areas in their desire for internationalisation and modernisation. In this way, the Education Administration responds to the general guidelines of the National Strategy to face the demographic challenge. To this end, the Provincial Delegation of Education of Albacete, within the framework of a provincial consortium, coordinates and tutors the incorporation of these educational centres into European programmes, access to which would otherwise be very difficult or almost impossible. The aim of this project is to achieve a platform for collaborative work between the participating centres, as well as a meeting point for all those centres which, being located in areas considered to be at demographic risk of depopulation, want to overcome geographical barriers. Another of the basic reasons for applying for this project is to share successful strategies developed in this framework, in relation to the three main areas of work: linguistic competences in foreign languages, new methodologies and motivation for teachers.
