Concerning the administration area, management team intends to improve the optimization of human and material resources, the implementation of new conflict-solving strategies and share management experience with other management teams within the European educational framework. Regarding tutorial action plan, it is intended to acquire the tools tutors need to achieve a greater family involvement in school dropout prevention and train tutors in detecting attitudes that result in school dropout through new prevention strategies. In relation to the European dimension of the centre, It is intended to continue with the internalization project of the academic centre being aware of how important learning foreign languages and cultures is for the prevention of xenophobia and radicalism. It is also intended to open up new doors for pupil and teacher training and working future. With respect to teacher training, it is intended to acquire new cooperative learning methodologies , learn new tools that allow a more motivating education by/through the responsible use of mobiles and tablets and foster teacher training focusing on team work from different areas of knowledge, STEAM groups and project-based learning.
Through direct observation and the analysis of the academic results, we have detected that our centre /high school , the same as other ones in our community, deals with a problem concerning those students that drop out school without having acquired any academic qualification, which makes them confront serious problems for their incorporation/ integration into the labour market. Despite our efforts, those students drop out school without having acquired the essential knowledge or key competences or skills to face their adult life. What is more, not having any academic qualification makes them begin their work life at a disadvantage / leaves them at a disadvantage that can drive them to unemployment and precarious work. In a world in which most jobs are increasingly more automated and demanding ,not having the required training becomes a handicap that prevents them from improving socially and at worst, it can lead to poverty and social exclusion. It is because of those students that our teaching staff and school council detect the need for improving those academic results through/by teaching methodological changes and a greater family emotional involvement in this improvement.
